1.     Visit www.shraddharajwaday.com

2.     On the right side on the home page, look for the Window which looks like this. Choose any of the social networking options of which you are a member. Then log in with your User ID and password of the selected social network or your Gmail User ID and password. This operation should make you a registered user in 10 – 15 seconds.

3.     After registering, if you would like to receive intimation of new postings on the blog in your mailbox, please type in your email ID in the subscription box as shown on the left and simply type in your mail ID and click on “Subscribe”. An activation mail will be sent to this mail address, and once you authorize the subscription in your mail, you are ready to go.

Health Strategy 2 

Simple efforts put together end up showing impressive, cumulative results.

Simple changes in lifestyle or changes in the WAY you make food choices can in the end have favorable and long lasting health benefits.

Our 1^st Health Strategy for this year was to start thinking about food and think before you eat it, every time.

Our 2^nd Health Strategy is also going to be as simple and can be put into use effortlessly.

START READING YOUR FOOD LABELS…..

This is a very important strategy and will go a long way in the making us aware about the food that we are eating. This in turn will also help us to stick to our 1^st Strategy because you would have thought about foods, its ingredients and its benefits at the time of shopping itself.

1. Always Read Food Labels.

2. Look Out for Specific foods which may be harmful to your condition.

3. Try and find out Synonyms which mean similar or the same thing but is disguised in the food label. Eg : Sugar / Honey / Maple Syrup / Corn Syrup / Glucose / Fructose are all substitutes of each other and will make the food sweet & high calorie.

4. Beware of Marketing Gimmicks which will mislead you!! {eg Food items of vegetable origin saying “Cholesterol free”.}

5. Avoid buying food if you are uncertain of its ingredients.

6. Wrong advertising & promotions can put you in a Health Crisis.

REMEMBER ,

Reading a food label and getting into habit of reading it is the first step in achieving your health goals.

If you are able to apply this simple trick as many times as you can, then your chances of putting on extra pounds during this year can nullify.

Remember…….. Simple and most treasured joys in life come for Free!!!

Similarly……..…. Being Fit and Healthy does not always require expensive food and funny gadgets and exercise tools.
